Luca, formerly known as Poncho, is doing great! We love, love, love this little guy. From day one, he is a snuggle bug that soaks up all the affection he can get and we are happy to provide that to him.
Luca loves all the soft places in can lay on and especially loves all “his” things. We were told he was found chained to a tractor in Spain so I’m sure he thinks this is heaven on earth.
He makes friends with everyone he meets, the four legged variety included. We have a brittany neighbor, Maggie, who was also adopted from ABR a couple of years ago. They are the best friends and love to go for walks together and are partners chasing all the critters.
We enrolled him in a beginners obedience class and we think he is best behaved dog in the class. We haven’t completed the class yet but I’m sure he’ll pass with flying colors because he is so smart.
We go up north often near Two Harbors Mn where he can explore the nearby woods and enjoy the sights, smells and sounds that the north shore can offer up. He’s a great traveler in the car and is just happy to be included in whatever is going on.
We are so happy that we had the privilege and was chosen to adopt our boy. I would not hesitate to adopt a dog again from ABR international. I believe these dogs know just how lucky they are and will return any love you give them a hundred times over.
