Tiny is such a joy to us and has been a wonderful addition to the family. The photos attached show her enjoying her car rides, in therapy dog prep class being the attentive good girl that she is, and hanging with her Brittany sister Sasha and a friend at Christmas time.
Tiny is a little spitfire who loves to be showered with love. It has been amazing to see her transformation from when I picked her up at Logan airport a year ago. Because her tail was docked so poorly she ended up with neurological damage as a result and wasn’t completely continent with urine. After much testing she is on medication daily and doing great. We can tell how much more comfortable she is. Her pride and joy is following her Brittany sister everywhere and anywhere. We go off leash walking at least 5 times a week and her recall is almost spot on!
Tiny has been many places with us over the past year, she goes regularly to Lake George up in the Adirondacks of New York State. She has been out to Cape Cod in Massachusetts as well. She will be going back there in September again. Tiny LOVES car rides, and is the first out in the garage to jump in the car!
Her favorite thing to do while barking at the top of her lungs is to chase chippies and squirrels. She gives them plenty of advanced notice with her high pitched barking so thus far none have been actually caught. Her energy level is boundless and she is not a picky eater at all.
I’ve taken three classes with her – Apprentice Class, Masters Class and just recently Therapy Dog Prep. She will take her test in early July when she will hopefully become a certified Therapy Dog! We never would have thought that possible a mere year ago upon adopting her.
Thank you ABR for having the international program and bringing such wonderful dogs like Myka with so much potential to us here in the USA!
If there is anything else I can do please just say the word.
