Adopted!!!
Meet Zoey: Zoey was surrendered when daughter and grandchildren moved in.Zoey is very affectionate and really wants to be near her people. She knows basic commands. She seems to really like people She does pull on the leash, and previous owner said she will jump a short fence. So far she has done well in our fenced yard, but should not be left alone outside, or left outside off leash without a fence. She is housetrained and does not jump on furniture. She really likes her dog bed. Zoey has a lot of energy and really loves to play, but is also content relaxing in the living room. When she gets bored she finds her bed or her kennel and lays down. Zoey does not do well left in a wire kennel and will bite at the kennel doors and walls. We have a large plastic travel style kennels and she seems to do really well in those. She travels well inside her kennel inside the cab of the truck and rides quietly. Zoey will whine when away from people and wants to be included (but she is getting better). Zoey seems to get along well with female dogs of similar size and temperament but has not cared to be around any male or smaller dogs. She saw a cat while getting a checkup at the veterinarian’s and did not show much interest. Zoey sounds like a perfect girl doesn’t she? Would you like to be Zoey’s hand/paw holding friend? If you think Zoey would be right for you, fill out an application.
