Hello, my name is Snip! I am re-discovering what it means to be a beloved family member. I used to have an owner that loved my sister and I very much, but he had to move away to be cared for because he got too old. I’d hoped we could spend our golden years together, but it turns out my sister and I had a little more spunk left in us than our dear owner. For just over a year, we went to live with our owner’s grandson. We had to live outside only, and it was lonely and cold. We missed our Dad. It was much harder on my sister than it was for me. Snap was depressed after loosing our old Dad, and it takes her a while to warm up to new people now. She comes around, but I am her biggest source of comfort. We are litter-mates after all, and being together is all we’ve ever known. Me on the other hand, I am catching up on ALL the cuddles I missed out on after our owner moved away. Have a favorite Netflix show? I am SO ready to binge watch with you! Snap will watch too, but she prefers being in her “safe space.” I hope I can help her come out of her shell at our furever home so she can watch shows on the couch with us. I mean, humans have two hands for a reason. so they can pet two dogs at once!We are both nervous in new situations and around new dogs. Before coming to our foster home, we’d only met two other dogs our entire lives! We really didn’t get out much. We spent ALL our time in the back yard or in an outdoor kennel. You can imagine why we need a little patience adjusting. after nine years of that, quarantine for a few weeks doesn’t look so bad!Please consider giving us a warm and loving furever home to spend our golden years.
