Adopted!!!
Dog Story:
Zar is an ANGEL. According to his foster home’s description, he sounds like one. He is very well behaved indoors and has full run of the house, even when left alone. He learned his place quickly, does not climb on furniture, and has had no bathroom accidents. He loves to look out the windows at the outside world. He is very interested in what goes on around us. Zar is very affectionate and always ready for attention, but does not beg for it.
Zar, and 5 other Britts recently had an arduous, long journey from Spain, with flight delays, redirected flights and even had to land in NYC instead of Dulles airport and completed the trip by van in the middle of the night.
While he was an inside dog in Spain, Zar loves the outdoors. He is very energetic. He does not challenge the fence in his foster home. He does have a blast with the squirrels and birds who reside in the neighborhood, and he is the first to come inside when hands are clapped to come in.
His papers said that he may have problems with male dogs, but his foster home has two female dogs (one Brittany and one Yorkie). He has been nothing but a great companion to them. They love to play together, and there have been no issues with them. He loves to chase balls and frisbees when thrown.
It is unimaginable that these dogs are so close to losing their lives for no reason other than being an inconvenience. We are fortunate to have advocates in other countries willing to help in any way they can to enable ABR to save as many souls as we can. Zar is obviously one of the fortunate ones and we are committed to finding him the home and life he deserves
