Dog Story: Wyatt is a very special one year-old Britt puppy. He loves to run around the yard with Lilly and she shows him where all the little birds hide. He loves to chew rawhide chew rolls and will stay occupied for hours with one of them. You would never know that he had any kind of medical conditionbut the vet says he has a heart murmur. It sure doesn’t slow him down at all! With a little TLC he could still live a long and happy life. Wyattis such a happy boy and has settled right in to our home. Since he was a stray,we didn’t know how he would behave. He has, so far, been a perfect gentleman in the house. He goes into his crate when asked to and stays there without any fuss. When he comes out of the crate, we go into the yard to play and he does his duty first then plays with Lilly and looks for birds. He is great with small children; all my grandchildren can play with him with no trouble at all. If you think you could be the special person to care for Wyatt, please fill out an online adoption application and be sure to mentionWyatt-1930. Feel free to callhis foster hometo ask any questions you might have about him. Update 11/29/09: Here is a short video of the pups teasing Wyatt (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tvcAm232mtM Update 12/26/09: Wyatt is on medication for his heartcondition. The vet says it will help himlead a long and active life. It is very inexpensiveand.he could even manage without it after awhile. He loves to take his daily pill because I usually hide it in a little piece of cheese and he loves treats. My wife says he is just about the best dog we have ever fostered and that really is praise! Wyattcame from a shelter as a stray.
