Dog Story Meet Winston! This precious boy recently arrived at our home and is just so adorable. He has a petite stature; only weighing 36lbs, and is sweet natured. Winston really enjoys the company of humans, which is why his previously family surrendered him to ABR as theyjust weren’t able todevote the timethat he so desperately craves.Winston also very muchenjoys canine company, too, andis really looking up to and learning a lot from his foster brothers.As a young Britt he is very playful and just wants interaction and attention all the time, but despite his age and the fact he’s aBritt he is surprisingly calm!. His favorite thing is fetch. Despite spending his life mostly as a yard dog Winston is doing very well in our house. He also slept in the cratefine and did pretty good on the leash. With some time and direction Winston will have his manners perfected in no time! He’s a smart boy! Winston needs a family that is active and where someone is home most of the day. A family with another dog/dogs is also preferable. Although he has not been around children I am pretty certain he will love them as much as they’ll love him. I was informed by the previous owner that WInston will chase cats, but he may grow out of this if given the chance to learn how to behave around them. Overall this boy is just fabulous and will be the cherry on top of any family! Winston is an owner surrender rescue because his family didn’t have enough time for him Winston is neutered, heartworm negative, current on shots and on heartworm and flea/tick preventative.
