Meet Violet:

Violet is a vibrant, sweet, loving, normal 35lb Brittany puppy other than she can’t see. Don’t let her lack of vision scare you, since Violet has had limited vision since birth, she has adapted well. Violet doesn’t know any different. She came to me and my four Brittanys and just fit right in. She quickly learned her way around the house and was able to come up and down the two stairs to get in and out to the yard. Did I mention Violet is potty trained? She knows sit and we are working on some other commands. She has good recall with hand clapping and calling her Vy-Vy. She does jump up on people and other dogs. She gets along well with adults, kids, dogs, and even cats. She loves to play with my puppy.

Violet has visited an veterinary eye specialist twice and her sight cannot be fixed. She needs to be on over-the-counter eye salve for the rest of her life.

Violet can have a wonderful life. She may need a little more work than a sighted Brittany but Violet can learn, she is one smart cookie. Did I mention Violet loves treats? Yep she does. A fenced yard is a requirement for Violet. She will be able to go for walks, hikes, and who knows what other activities you and she can do. Violet just needs someone to love her and help her adjust to their world.

Transport is not available for Violet.
