Meet Turk , I have a new name and it seems to suit me better. I am very cautious around new people. People can be scary but my foster mom tells me I am a very good boy and that she is very happy with how quickly I have warmed up to her. That makes me happy and I allow her to pet me, I still cower a bit but have been holding my head higher and higher as times goes on.

I am very social with my four legged foster siblings , they play with me lots and are teaching me all sorts of dog behavior and manors. I like to play and RUN! I am a quiet boy. I rarely bark but on occasion I will cry when I am in my kennel. I will go in there on my own to nap or when too many people are around. When everyone is quiet and sitting, I come out and visit everyone on my own time.

My foster Mom forgets that I am so young and am interested in chewing on all sorts of things , I have found a few things that she insists I am not allowed to have but I beg to differ!!!!

Yesterday my foster mom was sitting on the couch and I felt she was lonely , so I climbed up on her lap for a snuggle, she was so happy and pleased that it made me a bit nervous , she calmed down and I was pleased to stay on her lap and get pats, hugs, rubs and kisses.

I deserve a wonderfully active family that will be patient with me and give me lots of chances to meet new people and animals with lots of places to visit to help me fell more confident in all situations, and of course lots of love and kisses . I am really starting to like that.

Turk was just neutered this week and will be available shortly after lots of more loving and reinforcement.
