Tug is one great little pup. He is engaging, friendly, happy, eager, smart, sweet, so endearing and likes to cuddle during down time. He is so willing to learn and please that he would be great with obedience, agility or canine parkour. (He loves to jump from thing to thing.) He knows sit, stay and lay down. He does like to jump up on you, or put his feet up on the counter, so we have been working on ‘off.’ He loves to play fetch and will bring it right back to you but does not always give so we have been working on that as well. Tug plays well with the other dogs. He also does well with our cats. One likes him, one does not and he respects the one that does not. He interacts with visitors in our home after the whole gang is done barking and greeting them. No sight unseen adoptions for this boy. We feel it is important that all family members (human and canine) meet to assure that we have a good fit. Tug is a very special boy. He is still a work in progress and will need a soft hand. He needs someone with the time, patience and consistency to give him guidance and perfect his doggie manners. Dog obedience is essential for Tug. If you would like more information on this wonderful guy you MUST FIRST complete the adoption application Tug was taken in by another rescue who reached out to ABR. This baby came into our foster care program. Tug has been neutered and micro chipped. He is current on all vaccinations, is Heart Worm negative and is on Heart Worm Preventative.
