Heeeere’s Tracker Joe!! Tracker is a 6 year old big Britt with a huge heart to match. He’s a solid 53 lbs, but not an overweight boy. You’d call him big-boned, not fat!! He’s a sensitive guy with his feelings easily hurt. He’ll stop and sit at your feet asking for forgiveness if you raise your voice thinking he did something wrong or you’re mad at him! He really just wants to make you happy! I wouldn’t classify Tracker as light on his feet, but he really just wants to be part of the action and loved. He’s housebroken and knows basic commands. He’s displayed no alpha tendencies with the three resident Britts, but rather seems just happy to be here running around the fenced yard tracking whatever ‘critter’ he can smell! His nose is always checking things out! He can play on the rough side just from his size so I’d recommend a family with older children. His little (28 lb) resident Britt brother wasn’t really excited when he took a roll after Tracker ran into him during play. Tracker just smiled at him and kept on going without a second thought! Given his enthusiasm for life, a barrier fence would be best. Tracker came into rescue as an owner surrender when his owner sadly passed. He’ll be neutered in mid-June, is heart-worm negative, microchipped, and up to date on his shots. If you’re interested in Tracker, please complete anadoption application. In-person meet and greets to ensure a good match will be required.
