Dog Story: Introducing Toby.a sweet, young, and energetic boy who loves to run! Toby is about a year old and weighs 31 pounds. When he arrived in foster care he became very ill and was hospitalized for several days at the emergency vet with a high temperature and viral infection. Toby is now home, recovering nicely, and taking his medications like a champ to get him all better. Hewould sure appreciate some Brittany Buddy help with the costs of his medical care. Toby has strong interests in playing with his foster siblings, chewing on rope toys and Kongs, and destroying Nylabones! With a regular diet, he should gain a few pounds as he grows. He is a simply adorable, happy boy who is very eager to please and enjoys being with people and other dogs. He gets along wonderfully with the kids and is learning more every day. Toby will do best in an active home with some doggy siblings to keep him company. He is full of smiles and energy and will make a great playmate for another dog. Toby has been brought up-to-date on all his shots and is neutered as well asheartworm negative and on preventive. If you are ready for a Brittany pup full of fun and joyful activity, please fill out the online adoption application and ask for Toby-1852. Toby came into the Bakersfield shelter as a stray. After being rescued from the shelter and receiving emergency veterinary care, he is ready for a new home.
