Dog Story: Meet Toby! This handsome boy turned 3 years old in May and has always been an indoor dog and family companion. Toby is so lovable and a joy to have around. He enjoys chasing after balls, playing with his toys and stealing a sock or pillow to proudly carry around. Toby is an active young guy who needs regular exercise and loves to take long walks on leash. Romping around the yard with his three Brittany foster brothers and following his nose chasing squirrels are favorite activities. Once he’s had his exercise Toby is ready to settle down in the house and nap in his crate, and adores most of all snuggling with his people and Brittany siblings. Toby has lived with young children and other dogs and is a friendly, outgoing and affectionate gentleman. He also loves to eat! Even the tomatoes in the garden and plums from the backyard tree are a tasty high-fiber snack and we supervise to make sure he doesn’t overdo it on the munchies. Toby loves his chew toys and a good Kong or marrow bone keeps him happy. Toby is housetrained, crate trained and knows his commands like sit and down. Toby is accustomed to having lots of attention with family members home during the day as well as canine companions, and will do well with people and a doggy sibling to spend plenty of time together. Toby is well-mannered and will be a wonderful family companion in his lucky forever home. Toby weighs 43 pounds and is current on vaccinations, on heartworm preventive and microchipped. He is all ready to find a new family to love.
