Dog Story: Hello my name is Timo, Some say ‘Tee-moe’, some ‘Tim-O’, I don’t mind what you call me, maybe even ‘Tebow ‘, if you are a football fan. I’m looking for a ‘forever home’. I would prefer someone that knows how to be an alpha dog, as I am still in need of some training. I have some really great qualities that my foster family brags about. They say, ‘ Timo never has accidents at home, he is crate trained and sleeps through nights without a peep, doesn’t jump on furniture or people, great with all kids and dogs, dog park visits, knows sit, lay down, and he is very smart and learns quickly.’ I’m like a different dog when Max (my foster brother) is around, I come out of my shy shell. You see I have a fear of strangers. Sometimes I shake or bark and run away, it takes a while to get to know me, but when you do, I love to be petted, cuddle and will be your best friend. I like to run off leash, but will check in on you. Since I’m not yet 2 years old I have some puppy energy to spend, when I wrestle with dogs I don’t growl. I love treats and playing games on how to get them, like ‘sit’, ‘laydown’ or ‘come’. I have toys and I’m OK with sharing them- Except when Max destroyed my stuffed Fox! I didn’t say a word. Good luck finding your elk antler bone Max. I’m not a chewer, but will not pass up a good bone. My foster family has 2 girls 12 and 8 years old, they are great and I like them the best. They are helping me overcome my fear of strangers by having lots of friends over. When I am really happy my whole butt wags not just my little tail. If you can get my energy out, I love blankets and to nap. I’m just a little guy at 30 pounds, but I’m lean and fast. I eat well but never beg at the table for human food. I’m very young and will love you for a long time. If you have another dog and some of those children that would be great! I would like a fenced in yard, but ‘beggars can’t be choosers’. Oh wait, I’m not a beggar. Call for me quick because the sooner I leave my foster home, the better. Those little girls are loving me so much that each day it will become harder for me to leave them. I will be alright because I will have you. Woof, Timo
