Meet Tessa.short for Contessa.She came into rescue not knowing her original name.We figured maybe a fresh new start is what this girl needed. Tessa responds well to her name.She is a petite 28 pounds of pure love that bows to any human. This cutie loves to snuggle with her humans on the couch, but also loves to run around the foster family’s fenced yard with their Brit.She is just not a pretty face.She was house trained quickly, mastered the doggie door, and the scary stairs in a couple of days.Tessa is good loose in the house when no one is home. She absolutely loves to go for car rides and has yet to meet a person she doesn’t like. She always has to know where her people are and frequently checks on you if you are out of her sight. This gal also is leaning basic commands like come, sit and stay. We have been working on having her sit before meals/treats and she’s getting the hang of it. The family notified ABR and we took all into rescue. This little Britt girl is current on all vaccinations, spayed, heart worm negative and on prevention medications.She also has been microchipped.
