Dog Story: Tegan is a very mellow somewhat ‘old soul’ for a 3 yr. old Brit. he is very smart and learned the house rules quickly. He still has enough puppy in him to try to push the envelope to see if he can get away with breaking the rules. When reprimanded, he admits guilt and grins and runs to hide under the bed and generally does not try the same thing again. He loves using the dog door. He is well housetrained, gets along great with my two Brits and no longer tries to eat out of others’ bowls. Tegan does not like to be left at home and may have ridden in the car often with a previous owner or may just want to be free to see this new world. He only whines at the door 1-2 minutes and then goes off to find my other dogs and something else to do. I think Tegan would love to be in a multidog home or with a family that is home most of the time to give him companionship. Tegan was found in a shelter in Utah and transported to Southern Cal. where there were more foster homes available.
