Introducing Teddy!  He lives for the 5 R’s:  Run, Romp. Roughhouse, Rest, Repeat!  This youngster is as gorgeous as he is intelligent and charming.  He is housebroken, crate trained, and knows basic commands, but could use reinforcement and further training.  

Teddy, known around these parts as Big Ted, is a tall, long legged guy, who is still a gangly teenager.  When he fills out, he will likely top out at 50-55#.  Ted LOVES to roughhouse with my two young adult dogs, and seems to never run out of energy.  Big Ted’s enthusiasm makes him unsuitable for very young children.  After his Royal Rambunctiousness has settled, Ted is a gentle snuggler on your couch or bed.

Big Ted would do great in an active household with at least one other playful dog and a family who loves training, playing and snuggling as much as he does.  He is super smart, and would likely do well in agility or other sports.  He originated in the Midwest, and points birds from inside the car as we drive around town, so he might be a candidate for further training.

His prior family adored him, but some life changes meant that they could not give him the attention he needs.

Neutering and microchipping are scheduled for this week, so Big Ted will be ready for his next great adventure shortly!

UPDATE: Ted has been microchipped, neutered and is now up to date on all vaccinations.
