Dog Story: Taylor is a beauty and even great pictures are not enough justice to define her coloring and markings. Miss Taylor is about 18 months old, is housetrained, crate trained, and gets along well with others. She has been exposed to big dogs, little dogs, pups, toddlers, and a baby, did great no issues. In the house she is content to lay in a dog bed, but would rather lay on the couch next to you, she does love furniture. However here in this foster home furniture and people beds are not allowed, a couple days of the command off, she quickly learned. We believe those things in spoiling them are best left to their adoptive home and not to the foster home to allow. Miss Taylor is on heartworm prevention, she is all vetted and ready to go, her current heartworm test was negative. She enjoys being brushed and loves looking pretty, the camera comes out and she is more than willing to pose for you too. In the car she rides quietly, she knows her name, loves watching the birds and squirrels in the yard. She is learning not to jump up on people, she does only do it with adults, not children. It is believed from plenty of fostering experience that it was allowed by her previous owners. Taylor takes treats nicely and listens to commands when given. Taylor is crate trained using a plastic crate, and she is in a crate to sleep at night, and anytime that the foster home is away from the house. She does not appear to have any storm or anxiety issues. She does have toys and chewy things in her crate to give her something to do. If you are interested in Taylor please apply ( adoption application) for her. She was found as a stray in North Texas area. The shelter called and room was made in rescue for her.
