Josey is a young ACTIVE gal looking for an active home. She loves her people and warms up to new humans quickly. She is perfect in her kennel at night, but would really love to cuddle up with her people. She does well on a leash and great at the dog park. She loves other dogs especially her BFF, another ABR alum, who she meets at the local dog park. She rides well in the car kenneled or loose. Her favorite evening activity is snoozing in your lap. She was found in Central, IL . Animal Control was tracking her for 6 weeks and caught her in a live trap. Our first week with her was rocky as she just wanted to RUN. She has greatly improved, but not completely trust worthy so households with small children are not recommended. A physical fence is highly recommended. With time and training she has the potential to be a wonderful Britt. No long distance adoptions for Josey.
