Cookie came to ABR from a local humane society. She was nervous in this setting which detered many potential adopters. After coming into our home, she settled in well, but still a nervous dog. She LOVES to run around in our large fenced in yard, and will play tag with you! She is also a SUPER cuddler! Even at nearly 30 pounds, she insists on being a lapdog. With lots of love and a little time she would make a great companion. She does not care for dogs in her face, so would not do well in a home with a high energy dog. We will be testing her with children as well, but does good with adults when she has a second to warm up. She is also crate trained, but will pace if there is a lot of camotion going on around her. However, she sleeps in it all night long with no problems and is crated when we are gone with no issues. She is up to date on all vaccines, and will be spayed on 7/9/19.Cookie is a loving and high energy 2 year old britt ready to find her forever home! Cookie is looking to be the only dog in her new home, and would do best with a fenced in yard where she can freely run! She does have some anxiety but enjoys her time and space in her crate (but will pace if there is or has been activity going on around her). She will cuddle on your lap, and loves to give kisses! She will make a great pet for someone who is looking for a loving companion!
