Dog Story: Sydney is a total sweetie and she is looking for her new forever home. She is great with children of all ages and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She would do well in a home with or without other dogs. Sydney is a 7 year old orange and white female who has always lived as an indoor house pet and was a devoted companion to her previous family. Sydney loves to run around outside, explore the yard and play. She has a gentle temperament and although like all Britts needs regular daily exercise and stimulation. Sydney is happy to keep the humans company for love and pets, settle down in the house and stretch out to nap in the sun. She gets along well with her Brittany foster brother and sister and other dogs, although has been known to chase a cat or small dog racing through the yard, so will need a feline-free home! Sydney is housetrained and crate trained. She has been well-behaved in her foster home and listens to commands, and is getting accustomed with leash manners learning not to pull on lead. Sydney enjoys playing and cuddling together with the other dogs and has a wonderful calm personality befitting her perfectly ideal age as an adult Brittany. Sydney is gentle having always grown up with young grandchildren. She was lavished with love (and treats!) so she arrived a bit overweight, but the extra pounds are coming off quickly with healthy diet and lots of exercise at her foster home! At her ideal weight Sydney will be about 50 pounds. She is fully vetted, current on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on preventive and microchipped.
