Dog Story: Introducing Sunshine, AKA Sunny. Sunny is a happy little girl who loves to cuddle and play. Sunny has done very well around her canine brothers and sisters and is tolerated by her feline ‘friends’. She has done very well in the home and her accidents have been minimal. When Sunny first came into rescue she has a bad case of Demodex mange. Luckily, this type of mange is very treatable and is not contagious. After antibiotics, medicated shampoos and bathing, and some TLC, Sunny is doing great Her hair is growing back and she no longer looks as if Yoda could be her father. Sorry Darth. Sunny is up to date on all vaccinations, microchipped and has been recently spayed. She is on heartworm preventative as well as oral flea and tick medication. Her current weight is 12.5 and her expected adult weight should be 20-25 pounds As you can see from the photos, Sunny is not all Brittany. Not exactly sure what she could be mixed with however a DNA test kit has been requested Sunny’s forever home should be ready for some puppy energy and have patience with some training
