Meet Stache (Stash). It’s obvious where his name came from when you look at a head shot.Stache is a sweet loveable boy who is
learning to be a house dog and trust humans. He gets anxious when faced
with new things so needs a lot of patience and repetition with training. He is a creature of habit and likes his world to remain fairly consistent. As such will do best in a fairly quiet
family. So far, he hasn’t shown any desire to cuddle but he does like to
keep an eye on his people. Day by day Stache is learning to trust and
deal with the unknown. We think he would do very well
in a home with a fenced yard and a playful friendly canine sibling. He
gets along very well with our reserved male Britt and frequently tries to get
him to play. He loves to be outside roaming our fenced yard and will stay
out for long periods of time. He walks nicely on leash with a harness and
is learning to enjoy car rides. Please, no long distance or
sight unseen adoptions are being considered for Stache. Given his anxiety
when being approached by a human, we feel all family
members (humans and canines) need to meet to assure we have a good match. If you are interested in this charmer,
complete the adoption applicationand mention
Stache!Stache was an owner surrender. He had only been a kennel dog, but is making
up for lost time. Upon arriving in
rescue, Stache has been neutered, vaccinations updated, heartworm test negative, and
put on heartworm preventative.
