Dog Story: Well, it finally happened. After several years of being a so-so hunting dog, I was retired off the plantation. Then I spent another year or so being tossed from backyard to backyard until I finally ended up in Rescue. All because I’m a lover not a hunter. Actually, this is a pretty cool setup. I’m in a house and I can’t remember ever being in one. I’m not chained to a tree which I did not like at all. Instead I have a fenced yard to play in and other dogs to play with. And I got to sleep in a something called a recliner. It was very comfy. I get two meals a day and lots of attention both of which I really, really could get used to. And Herself expects kisses not quails. I think I’m in love! The down side is I’m told I can’t stay. The upside is that Herself has promised to find me better then this. I hope recliners are not rare things like Unicorns. Now that you think I’m great I have to reveal my problem. You see I wasn’t treated that well by the people who were supposed to take care of me. Because of that I’m told I make a, what did Herself say.oh yeah, a horrid first impression. I mean really what kind of impression would she make if she had been chained to a tree? But I digress, she tries hard. I have really tried hard to be better and She says I am. Says I’m a different dog from just a few days ago. I even come to her when she calls. So if you think you have the patience to wait for me to love you back, I promise it won’t take long. I’m not picky, I’ll love anyone who lets me. P.S. Herself calls me Spinner. You have to call about me to find out why. Spinner is up to dateon vaccinations, neutered, heartworm negativeand on preventative.
