Adopted!!!
6.27.18 Came into Memphis shelter mid-May. HW-, she was spayed and vaccinated.Soft tissue injury to foot observed at intake to shelter has healed with rest and NSAIDs
This is what the shelter had to say about her:
‘She has a natural tail and an insatiable love for water! Shes a very sweet girl with a lot of energy, constantly has her nose to the ground and LOVES to play in her water bowl so much we can barely keep her kennel dry! She is HW negative, up to date on vaccines, spayed and microchipped already as well.
She’s definitely underweight from kennel stress at a tiny 32 lbs. She is extremely light boned as well though. She is extremely sweet, walks well on leash, appears to be good with other dogs as well.’
Solace is going to vet boarding until she moves to a foster in a week or so.
Update 7-4-18:
A long time volunteer stepped up to foster Solace within a day of coming into rescue. She is doing very well with them. They (doctor and nurse) were concerned about her limp so took her to the vet for an x-ray. She has bullet fragments in her left shoulder which account for the limp on that side. Over the past few days as she has exercised and gotten stronger, the limp has lessened. She is not timid or afraid. Loves water so they got her a little wading pool.
