Snowy is a 6 year old orange and white spayed female Brittany DOB 8/9/09, owner surrender to Humane Society of Broward County in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Owners were moving and brought her to shelter on 8/19/15, said they’d had her since a puppy, friendly with people, dogs and kids, likes to run and play with toys and housetrained. Snowy weighs 46 pounds and was vetted at shelter, UTD on DHPP/Bordetella and tested HW+ at shelter. She will need Rabies vaccination. Humane Society of Broward County is doing dental cleaning and microchip 8/22/15. HSBC will send Snowy with Heartgard and 30 days oral Doxycycline 2x/daily to start HW treatment, then begin Immiticide injections when oral meds completed. Snowy is moving to temporary foster care in North Miami Beach, FL and will update when she gets settled in and evaluated. Update 9/14/15: Snowy moved to foster/foster to adopt in Homestead, FL. Snowy had first Heartworm Tx injection at Humane Society of Broward County 10/23. She will have second and third HW Tx injections 11/23 and 11/24 to complete HW treatment.
