**We will not be transporting Snoopy. A meet and greet is required.**Hey there! It’s me, Snoopy. I also go by Snoop for short—like the D-O-double G (Snoop Doooooooog). I’m here to find a family that will love me the mostest. See, every night before I go to sleep, my tempawrary mom tells me she loves me the most RIGHT NOW, but also that there is someone who will love me more!!! I didn’t know that was even pawsible, but I can’t wait to find out. She told me to make a list of what I really like, and what I really don’t. So here goes! What I REALLY like:Love—both giving and receiving Being close to my people (beside, between, on, or under—the closer the better) Running and hunting critters and birdsNapping on tempawrary mom and dad when I’m tired after chasing critters and birdsAll forms of affection (rubs, scratches, pats, ear and belly strokes. long walks on the beach, etc)Anything involving food, including things I’m not supposed to eatTreats and more treatsRemembering how to sit, lay down, get in my crate, wait, come, stay and give paw when treats are involvedPleasing my people by being a good boyWhat I really DON’T like:Being alone or separated from my peopleNot being able to run and hunt critters and birdsSharing affectionI’ll let my foster mom share more about me. She currently loves me the mostest, so she knows me pretty well. Foster mom: Snoopy has been an absolutely amazing foster. He’s a quick learner and eager to please. He really just wants to be loved and be close to his family. He does need a family that is home with him most of the time as he has some separation anxiety. He sleeps in his crate at night without issue but only if the crate is in the bedroom. He would sleep in the bed, if given the chance. Snoopy needs someone patient, consistent and attentive who can continue to work with him on appropriate boundaries and feeling secure when left alone. Snoopy is cautious (not aggressive or excessively fearful) of new people, places and other dogs and looks to us for assurance when he feels insecure. He gets along well with his foster brother, but he does get a bit attention jealous and tries to push to be closest. Snoopy could live harmoniously with another dog in the home or as an only pet. But, he has not shown any interest in playing with other dogs. Snoopy requires his teeth to be brushed daily. He chewed on a metal cage in his previous situation and was born with a significant overbite. Unfortunately, he had to have all four of his canine teeth removed. He will need to have proper oral care to ensure he keeps his remaining teeth. He doesn’t mind getting them brushed, but he does demand a treat after; he really loves treats. In general, Snoopy is very tolerant of baths, grooming, etc. He really just wants to please and be loved. Are you the family to love Snoopy the mostest and have him love you the mostest in return? If you are, please submit an application to adopt him!
