Adopted!!!
Dog Story:
Hey Smiley Joe here I am a year old energetic brittany/border collie mix perhaps? Even though I’m not a full Brittany ABR could not leave me on my final day at the shelter. My sweet loving personality shines through in the smile that is always on my face hence my nickname Smiley Joe. I am healthy and full of pep so I’ll need a fence to keep me safe while I run and play. I love chasing a ball and if someone would teach me I’d be great at agility.
I’m working on my house training and do well in a crate and don’t have accidents there. I ride well in the car but will pull some on the leash but I love walks and am learning the ropes. I love attention and all that comes with it. I am affectionate and will give kisses.
Even though one of my house mate gets snappy and growly with me at times when she has had enough I take it in stride and go on smiling and playing. I love my treats and I can be made to do just about anything for them!
I was less than 24 hours from being put down when I was rescued from a shelter. I am looking for a second chance and I just know I’ll make the most of it, so please fill out our online adoption application and take me home with you soon!

History:
Joe was a shelter/stray whose sweet demeanor, love for life and winning smile won all of us over at ABR on his final day at the shelter. He is neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped and heartworm negative. He is all set for his forever home!
