Dog Story: Sweet Miss Savannah is quite the beautiful southern belle. She is a gentle and loving girl and when given the chance will curl up next to you on the couch. Savannah is very affectionate and adores human attention. She gets along well with her Brittany foster siblings and knows how to correct the 9 month old puppy when he’s playing too rough for a dignified lady. Savannah has very nice house manners, knows basic commands like sit and stay, and is a pleasure to walk on leash. However, take Savannah to the park and she is full of Britt energy! She loves to run and romp with the other dogs like a puppy and generally comes when called. Although Savannah has a very easygoing disposition, she’s a typical Brittany gal who loves her exercise and plenty of attention from her people. Savannah will do well in a home where the family can spend lots of time cuddling and enjoying outdoor activities together. When Savannah arrived from the shelter she was in a rather sad state and her foster family got Savannah started right away with veterinary care and much-needed TLC. Savannah was found wandering as a stray, filthy and covered in fleas and ticks. During her stay at our veterinarian Savannah was spayed, treated for worms and kennel cough, brought up to date on vaccinations, tested heartworm negative, microchipped and started on monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventive. She also had a small benign growth removed from her leg and is now a new woman! Savannah’s veterinary costs during rehabilitation have been significant and any donations to Savannah’sBrittany Buddyfund are greatly appreciated. All donations willgo directly towards helping with the costs of this sweetheart’s medical care. Savannah has been working towards her success story already, bouncing back from life on the streets to good health and deserves the best in life to come! If you are interested in welcoming home a lovely lady to share lots of affection and hugs, Savannah is the girl to make you smile. Please submit the onlineadoption applicationand mention Savannah-4565, then contact her foster family to meet her in person! Savannah was found as a stray and taken into a local shelter.
