Meet Sweet Sarah! She knows basic commands like sit, wait and knows some words when spoken like treat, walk and bye. Sarah enjoys attention, walks nicely on a leash and plays with other dogs. Sarah will come when called and does not beg at mealtime and is typically gentle in taking treats. Her barking is appropriate and yet not excessive. Sarah enjoys car rides, she even knows what a drive thru means and does well visiting pet friendly stores. Sarah has done well in public settings and has been appropriate with all children. Sarah enjoys the company of other dogs as she has 8 other dogs in her foster home, we don’t know how she is with cats, as there were no cats in her previous home and there are no in her foster home. She is crate trained, but we have not had a reason to use a crate with her. Sarah enjoys her walks and walks nicely on a leash, she loves to run around the yard, chase and be chased, she becomes excited when we return and greets us with a toy! She loves her humans! Sarah needs a well secure fenced yard where she is able to run and play. She would benefit from an active family as Sarah needs to loose about 10 lbs.Sarah is a well behaved sweet girl. She has not chewed on things she shouldn’t, sleeps in a dog bed in our room or in our bed. She gets along well with a variety of dogs, likes people and usually gentle.Sarah has settled into our routine and behaves like a typical Brittany, she allows her ears to be cleaned, in excellent in the bath, and good about being groomed, and having her nails trimmed and dremeled. Sarah loves her people and like to be close to be petted and settle in on your lap. She is a sweet loving girl despite having her entire world changed. Sarah really enjoys engaging in play with her people and her foster siblings, so she would love to a another canine companion. Sarah was surrendered because her previous owner has medical issues and was no longer able to care for Sarah.
