Sage is a standout dog among all the sweet Britts I’ve had the opportunity to foster. They are all unique in their own ways, but Sage is special. She doesn’t have a mean bone in her body and is possibly the sweetest Brittany I’ve ever met- and that’s saying something.Sage lived in poor conditions her entire life and was only used for breeding. My guess is she was dumped at a shelter because she’s past her prime breeding years. I am completely floored that she has such a beautiful and loving spirit after all that. As anonly/ kennel dog, she has the occasional accident in the house, but she is so eager to please that house training shouldn’t be too hard. She doesn’t really know what treats are, but BOY is she intrigued by human food! She’s a little nosy and will counter surf, but doesn’t make a peep in her crate when it’s time for her tofosters to be in the kitchen uninterrupted.Sage has such a spice for life. She absolutely loves toys and it’s quite amusing watching her play in the yard. She is fantastic around other dogs and even adores her one year old hoo-brother at her foster home. We are weary with our little one around new dogs, but Sage insisted on gently cuddling right under his arm to keep him safe and loved. She must have been an incredible Mama to all the pups she had over the years. If you are interested in giving Sage the life she deserves (and are also prepared for LOTS of cuddles), please complete the adoption application and mention Sage. All serious inquiries must be available to pick up Sage from her foster home on Salt Lake City. No transportation assistance is available from the Utah team at this time.
