Introducing Sage! Sage is a super sweet, snuggly girlie who loves people and loves running in the backyard. She loves to play fetch and always has a toy or bone in her mouth if she’s not playing fetch. Her absolute favorite thing to do appears to be carrying a toy while running laps around the backyard. Second to that would be snuggling with her person on the couch. Sage is fairly high energy and would do best in a home with a large yard for her to play in. She enjoys walks and does okay with her easy walk harness, but otherwise pulls at the leash. She rides well in the car. Sage is housebroken and crate trained. She does best when left with lots of bones to chew on, as she will chose other, inappropriate things, if she doesn’t have a wide selection of bones. Sage loves her toys and enjoys carrying and shaking her toys. She doesn’t want to play tug with a toy but is happy to play fetch. She does well with other dogs but can sometimes air snap (snap at the air in front of a dog) if they get too much in her face. She does enjoy playing with other dogs as long as it doesn’t get too rough and is just a friendly game of chase. She likes to snuggle and would love a house that will let her snuggle on the couch and sleep on the bed. She’s good on a dog bed of her own as well, though.Sage is an owner surrender from an owner who’s life circumstances changed. He wasn’t able to give Sage the environment she needed and made the difficult decision to surrender her. Sage is in great shape and has a wonderful temperament. Sage is current on all vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, and current on heartworm and flea/tick medication.
