Adopted!!!
Dog Story:
Rufus is one of those Brittanies that you fall immediately in love with! Without a doubt, he will be sorely missed by his fosters once he finds his forever home. He is not only handsome but also loving and sweet. He stays very close to you, loves to cuddle, lay on your lap, or at your feet. He is incredibly affectionate and quick to give kissies. He will bark when introduced to new people, but this is short lived. He is easily excited, will jump on you when you first return home. This is an area that we’re still working on, but he is bright and learns quickly. He prefers to sleep in bed with you but will settle for the floor. Rufus does not like to crate and will take 5 minutes to settle down when crated.
Rufus is totally potty trained and very good in the house. He has full run of his current foster home without any issues or accidents. He is good with his foster brother, a geriatric Brittany with several health concerns.
Rufus is a high energy Brittany mix who loves to exercise morning and evening. Once he’s finished his run or walk, he immediately settles down. He loves to play ball mostly likes to keep you from getting the ball back. He is a small (31 pounds) lad who is quick to learn. He would be an excellent candidate for agility or as a running companion. He would benefit from a home with a large, fenced yard.
Rufus is up-to-date on shots, heartworm negative, on preventatives, and neutered.
Rufus was picked up as a stray and never claimed. The Humane Society subsequently released.
