Adopted!!!
Dog Story:
Ruby is a wonderful girl. She is smart, attentive, and obedient. Her small size, thirty nine pounds, is just the right weight. She comes when called, affectionate beyond all belief, responds positively to directions, and loves all people big and small. She is house broke and knows most of her basic commands. Ruby ignores our cat but loves to chase the squirrels from the bird feeder. She has no bad habits and is a lovely house guest.
Ruby and her foster siblings chase the ball at three PM daily (Yes, they can tell time). Ruby has joined in the play and runs all over the yard before bringing it back, she loves the chase. She needs, like all Brits, a lot of exercise. She has fit into the daily routine with the others and lets me know when it is time for an event to occur–such as play time, feeding, treat time and bedtime. She has the hunting instinct, but it needs to be developed. A large fenced yard would be perfect for her to exercise in. However, she, like the rest of the pets spends a lot of time in the house mostly napping.
Ruby loves a comfy lap to nap. All she wants is to be petted and return the love that is given. Ruby deserves a forever home that will give her the love and affection she wants and will return many fold in kind. She is a great, loving and loyal companion. Her forever family will be truly enriched to have her. She is a keeper. If you would like to have Ruby join your family please fill out the online adoption applicationand mention Ruby.
Dog History
Ruby was picked up by a vet tech on her way to work along a country road. She had no collar nor was she chipped. After posting ads to find her owner, ABR was notified. She seemed in good condition, clean and not hurt although in heat. It appears she had a litter sometime in the past. She is now spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and is heart worm negative.
