Dog Story: Hello! My name is Rose and I am a genuine sweetheart. I was picked up as a stray with a friend of mine, so you know how much I love other companions. I am playful, happy, and love to get attention from my human and canine friends. I was relieved to find out that I was heartworm negative when I went to the vet and was brought up to date on all of my vaccinations. In fact the vet said I was between 2 and 3 years old and in good condition! I am thoroughly enjoying my foster home where I get to play with another male Brittany who is 5. I love that he runs and plays with me! I also have a 6 year old human boy who I enjoy interacting with. My foster dad says I am very good because I am appropriately submissive and easy to get along with. I am a good eater, usually finishing within 15 minutes, but I don’t gulp my food down in 2 seconds like some of my friends. The only thing I sometimes get into trouble with is looking into garbage cans for things to pull out. I do enjoy tearing apart fabric toys, so my foster dad pretty much makes me play with toys that aren’t easily destructible. I learned how to use the dog door in about 5 minutes and love running in and out of the house all day long. If you want me to be all yours and come home with you, I will need a fenced in yard to run and enjoy myself in. I am working on my commands, but I this is all new to me as I never got proper training but I am catching on. I am ready to find my forever home, hopefully with another canine friend to play with! I wrote you this little poem, take a chance on me and we will both be thrilled you did. Roses are red Violets are blue Your life’s incomplete ’til you take me home with you! Rose P.S. if you are interested fill out the online adoption application and note Rose # 4222 Rose was picked up as a stray in Kentucky by animal control with another female brittany who we suspect is her mom. She is spayed, up to date on shots and heartworm negative.
