Dog Story: Roscoe is an enthusiastic and strong 6 year old orange and white male. He is larger than average, weighing about 56 pounds, but can stand to lose a few pounds. He is heartworm negative. Roscoe loves human attention and companionship and is looking for a forever home where he can fully bond with a new family. We suspect he came from a family where he didn’t get to spend much time indoors, but we are keeping careful management of him in his foster home, and he is doing very well with no difficulties. Roscoe is fine-tuning his house manners and has come far in just a few days. His walking on a leash needs improvement also, but he is making good progress on that as well. Roscoe does perfectly well with his foster family’s two Brittanys and two cats, having quickly learned to respect the latter. There are no children in his foster home, but all indications are that he would do well with children also. As for hunting, so far he is learning the fine art of squirrel watching and chasing from the two resident Brittanys. if Roscoe sounds like a perfect match for your family, please fill out the online adoption applicationand mention Roscoe. Dog History: Roscoe was in a shelter and rescued by ABR.
