Rookie is brand new to rescue, we will be updating his profile once we get the chance to see his true colors after settling into his foster environment. He spent his life as an outside only dog and we are hoping to place him with someone who will spoil him rotten and treat him like a king! He is very fit and healthy for 8 years young. He LOVES other dogs! He hardly had any interaction or entertainment his whole life, so he is thrilled to have company of another dog. He seems to be very quiet and submissive so far. He is timid of new people and is not used to having a strong bond with a human, so until that connection and routine is established, recall will be difficult. Rookie doesn’t mind getting attention. he just isn’t used to it. He is learning how to be an inside dog by taking cues from the resident Brittany. If you think you would be a good match for Rookie, please fill out anadoption applicationThe Utah ABR team is implementing amandatory 6′ fence requirementfor Rookie’s new home. We cannot offer transportation services at this time. All potential adopters will need to be available to pick up Rookie from his foster home in Salt Lake. We do not operate on a first-come first-serve basis, but take our time to match each dog with the family that best meets their needs. Thank you!
