Dog Story: My name is Rodeo. My foster dad likes to say that I am faster than light. He also loves to tell me that I remind him of the astronaut Pete Conrad who’s motto was, ‘If you can’t be good be colorful’. Most folks love my liver and roan looks and my liver eye patch. I happen to be most fond of my feathery tail. It was my foster mom that named me Rodeo because she says I’m fast enough to chase and run with the bulls. My foster dad says it’s because I look like a rodeo clown. I happen to think it because I have so much spring in my jump that if I was a horse I could buck the best cowboy off. I’m a quick learner and I need activities to keep me busy. I love the agility course and I love to chase balls. I am the perfect dog for the family looking for a dog to train for activities like agility, fly ball, etc. I play well with all dogs and children. I would like my forever home to provide me: social experiences with other dogs because I just love playing with other dogs; plenty of exercise because I’m going to need something to burn off my energy; lots of love and companionship because I haven’t got much of it until I arrived at my foster home, and I am really digging it. Rodeo needs to be placed in a home without cats and with a companion dog. Rodeo was rescued from a shelter where he was turned in as a stray.
