Dog Story:
Rita is a petite little lady who weighs in at about 28lbs, she has a lovely wavy coat that is unique mostly liver. The part that is light is more of a roan coloring that a plain white one. Miss Rita will be your lap dog when in the house, although we do not allow furniture it would not take much to convince her that you could change her mind. Then outdoors this two year old can run and play with the best of them. Although she is small she can keep up with the big dogs and gets along well with males and females. For a short time we had pups and was very good with them as well. With the toddler that lives here at her foster home she does great, takes treats nicely, walks on the leash for him, and is tolerate when he is running and playing. Rita will play fetch but her all time favorite are stuffed toys and she will at times just pick one up and carry it around. She will also toss it in the air and play by herself, oh and can de-stuff one in a split second if the mood strikes her.
Rita is housetrained, crate trained, rides in the car nicely, does fine with grooming and bathing. She is heartworm negative and is up to date on all of her vaccines. She does not appear to be storm phobic or have any type of anxiety issues, we have had the ability to check those area out. At night and when we are away from the house she is in a crate. She loves to watch the yard and not sure if she was even hunted or not.
History:
Miss Rita was picked up as a stray and turned over to rescue. She is currently living in WichitaFalls TX.
