Adopted!!!
Dog Story
Rico is a very handsome orange and white Brittany boy with lots of freckles on his nose and legs. The most important thing to know is Rico loves people! He loves big people and small people; he just loves to be with people. Rico is great with children and adores the kids in his foster home. He is very social and loves outings to the park and soccer games to visit with every new friend and dog he meets. Even cats are fine with Rico; his feline foster sibling doesn’t much care for dogs and Rico politely leaves him alone.
Rico would like to be a lap dog that loyally follows you around everywhere. He is happy going out for a leisurely walk or a run around the block. Rico is quite mellow for a young Brittany and does not startle easily. He can even relax calmly at the park surrounded by the chaos of running screaming kids! With a little training Rico will make a great therapy dog. He would happily walk around a hospital or senior home and be loved on all day. Rico has good house manners and walks nicely on leash. He has already learned a few commands and is learning new ones quickly. Rico does not like being separated from his people and becomes upset when left alone for longer periods. Rico’s ideal home will be where the family is home most of the time or where he can go to work with someone. He just wants to be your best buddy and has already proved himself the man for the job!
Mr. Rico is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and microchipped and had his teeth cleaned to show off that great Brittany smile! He is a real lover boy and will be a wonderful addition to any home ready for a snuggly Britt to adore. If you would like to welcome a stunningly handsome, charming and well-behaved gentleman to your family, please submit the online adoption application and mention Rico-4053, then contact his foster family to meet him in person!
Rico was an owner surrender. With six children they had no time or space for Rico and he was banished to the backyard all alone. ABR stepped in to find Rico the loving family he deserves.
