Dog Story: Hello, my name is RRRRexy, and I’m looking for a forever home. I am 3 years old and a very good boy most of the time. You see, I sometimes growl at strangers. My foster family is working on correcting that and I can honestly say I’m feeling a bit more confident now. Once I get to know you, we are best friends. I do love to run, even though I only have 3 legs. You see, I was born with a bad front leg, so ABR helped me out and I am much happier now. I can do almost anything those 4 legged dogs can do in fact, Just this week, I learned how to jump into the big bed for morning snuggles. I don’t like to brag, but I feel I could be the top world class snuggler! Thinking about going pro, so leaving my options open. I get along with other dogs and even cats. I sleep in my crate at night and nap time. I go potty outside, like a good boy. Even with only 3 legs, I can fly through a doggie door. I like to play with my squeaky toys. I don’t chew up things, so my foster family lets me and my foster sister stay inside while they are gone. We have a doggie door and a fenced yard, so no inside accidents. But that’s enough about me. Let’s hear from you. I think we could be grrreat friends. Foster dad here, Once Rexy learns to trust, he is very friendly. Rexy is up to date on immunizations, heartworm negative and on prevention. He is neutered and micro chipped. Rexy is crate trained and house broken. He loves to be outside and running, so he needs a fenced yard. He is about 40 pounds of tall, lean, rexy machine. Rexy was a family surrender because he started growling at a young family member and family friends. He had a severely deformed leg that was causing pain and could have been part of the problem. ABR was contacted and once we evaluated him and consulted a surgeon, it was for the best his leg was removed. Once he learns to trust, he is very friendly.
