When it comes to Brittanys, Remi (Remington) is a prized gem! He is a beautiful, mild-mannered sweetheart that has followed in my footsteps ever since picking him up. He is actually laying next to me as I write this. He likes to cuddle on the couch or in the bed if you call him up. He gets along great with our 2 other dogs, a yellow Lab and another Brittany. He really likes going outside and exploring the backyard and is constantly on high alert for any bunnies. He can leap across our backyard in about 5 hops when something grabs his attention! His previous owner stated that he is very good around people and kids and after a trip to the dog park, he got along great with all of the other dogs too. The only quirk with Remi is that he doesn’t really like being kenneled. He whined quite a bit in there the first night, but after getting to trust him more, there is no need to kennel him. He is free at home all day while I’m at work and it hasn’t been an issue and he has been sleeping at the foot of the bed at night peacefully. Anyone looking to adopt Remi should know that he shouldn’t be kenneled un-supervised. He had his vet check and has a good bill of health. He has been exposed to lyme disease at some point but didn’t contract the disease, any possible new owner should be aware of this so he doesn’t get the vaccine for lyme’s, which can cause an adverse reaction. Remi is 5 years old and came from someone who had to surrender him because through a divorce he had nowhere for his dogs to stay anymore.
