Adopted!!!
Rebel’s life now is of style, sport, supper, and snacks. Oh, one
more ‘S’; snuggles-on-sofa! (ok, that’s two more). Foster folks have watched her transformation
these past few weeks. As Shiny New Rebel would tell you, life is terrific now. She
is a single gal on the market, looking for a furever home to “match”.Rebel is a champion Security officer. Her duties include patrolling the property, closely
supervising all kitchen activities, alerting humans to potential intrusions by
Amazon, the mail person, etc.She also is
lovable, adorable and playful in between some well-deserved cutie naps. Our girl is pretty good on a leash, of course those birds are a
distraction. She is also fond of long
walks through the grass and mud, and will chase a ball but can get distracted
by other things moving around. She not just a pretty face and has learned
commands very quickly. Reb doesn’t see
need for “SIT”, but tasty treat rewards have reinforced that one.Not a fan of the bath, but the towel massage
and brush out afterwards are sooo relaxing.Meeting dogs is a work in progress but Rebel gets more comfortable daily.Maybe the right “other” dog might
become her new playmate and house buddy; but we are still working through leftover
behaviors from her former life. Her outlook is good; and if she can bloom while
living in our “townhouse” she definitely can RULE a big home and
yard! If you are looking for an adorable,
sweet, loving, playful gal, Rebel is the dog for you. Please no sight unseen adoptions for this girl.We feel it is
important for all family members (humans and canine) meet to make sure we have a
good fit.If you are interested in Rebel please complete the adoption applicationRebel is one of 10 dogs surrendered to ABR in January 2020 after
their owner unexpectedly died.All were
living in outdoor runs with barrels as shelter. The family notified ABR and we
took all into rescue. This little Britt girl is current on all vaccinations,
Spayed, Heart Worm negative and on prevention medications. She also has been Micro chipped.
