Adopted!!!
Meet sweet Reba…. a very solid 6 yr old spayed female who has the most beautiful gait I have seen in a long time. When she moves, she is gliding on air with her nose to the ground.Reba is one who will snuggle right next to you while on the couch and sleep against you when you are in bed. Reba is also a quiet girl. I think I have heard her bark maybe twice. Reba gets along beautifully with my dogs and with children. Reba loves to LOVE! Reba is a very special girl as she cannot be left alone. She has severe phobias of being left behind and you not coming back. We also noticed that Reba is a MAN’S Brittany. She follows my husband everywhere and stays close to his side. I’m the back up plan should he not be around. Reba’s perfect/preferred home is one with a retired couple, or someone who works from home. If you
leave, you will take her with you, even to the grocery store. Reba is a wonderful back seat rider. Again, very quiet. Reba cannot be crated…. she has broken 2 different style of crates escaping when we went to work even though there were 7 other dogs right there with her. If Reba is left alone, she is not destructive, but she panics and looks for you which means, jumping up on counters or anywhere that can get her to a window to try to find you. While she is there, she may sample anything left out. Reba though, has not destroyed any furniture, walls, etc. Reba just hates to be left behind. Reba is working on her housebreaking. Reba does go to the door to be let out. You just need to watch her for her “queues”If you feel you could have the setup to make Reba, feel safe, secure and most of all loved, then please complete the online application and mention her name and ID #. We can give you more information at that time. Reba is UTD on her vaccines and is H/W negative. Reba was picked up as a stray in NW Iowa. She displayed severe separation anxiety at
the shelter, and it continued at our home. Watching and observing, we can tell she was owned by a man and worshiped that person. We feel he may have died or left suddenly and didn’t return and maybe she was left a few days alone and now has this fear of being left alone again.
