If you are looking for that loyal friend who will be at your side through thick and thin, then Miss Rascal is your gal, She greets everyone she meets with a kiss.

Rascal came to us through an owner surrender due to unfortunate medical issues her owner suffered. Although this 12 yeaer old’s life has been suddenly turned upside down, she is coping well and don’t let her age fool you as she has plenty of Brittany energy and spunk of a 6 yr old Brittany and can easily do a 3 plus mile walk with you!

When Rascal came to us, she was very anxious but has since calmed down and is eager to sit next to you and lay her head on your lap. Rascal is very food motivated and learns quickly with treats.

Rascal loves those walks and exploring and does quite well in a harness. Rascal went from living life as an only dog (who spent most her time outside) to now sharing and enjoying the luxuries that indoor life affords and doing it with another Brittany and English Setter whom she is enjoying their company.

Rascal sleeps well in the crate at night and during the day, you will find her with a head in the toy box looking for those wasky squeaky toys that she will love playing fetch with you.

Oh, if you think she is old, how about this….she may be 12, but she can jump 4 feet straight up in the air if there is a treat involved. Rascal is a sweetheart full of kisses and is ready to live the best years of her life receiving all the love and attention.

HISTORY:

Rascal has been with her original owners since a pup. They loved and adored her and she got the best vet care and it shows. Unfortunately, a life threatening illness entered into their happy home and the husband could no longer care for her as they have been and his wife who is extremely ill, so he reached out to our rescue.
