Colorado is a 6 year old orange and white intact female Brittany, owner surrender from Milledgeville GA. TBone and Colorado were sold by a breeder who no longer hunted the dogs and were given to a local family who is helping get them into rescue. Dogs have not had any vetting and will need vet exams, spay/neuter, UTD vaccinations, HW test, fecal, and AVID microchips. Will update when they arrive in ABR foster care. Up to date on vaccinations, spayed, heartworm negative Colorado is in a foster to adopt home. Adoption will be not be finalized until she has surgery to remove mammary tumors 2-20-19 Colorado has been renamed Penny by her foster to adop 4.19,19 Another mammary tumor appeared. First mammary tumor removal (March) showed Grade 1 malignancy. 4.28.19 Penny had surgery in March to remove a malignant mammary tumor. Another appeared within weeks,. Radiographs of lungs are clear of metastasis. Will not be finalizing adoption until after Penny’s next surgery 5-24-19 Second opinion on new mammary tumor. Surgeon concurs with primary vet: wait and see. Looking at July to finalize adoption
