Dog Story: Penny is the sweetest girl you would want to meet. She is very friendly with every person she meets, regardless of age. Her docked tail never stops wagging. Penny was an owner turn in from the South Houston area. Due to a sudden passing in the immediate family, there was a quick need to place Penny and luckily, the owner contacted ABR and we were able to jump in and help out. Penny came to us spayed, current on all shots and heartworm negative. She lived with children and other dogs of various sizes. She has been playing with our big and little dogs and is great with both. She is not dominant and seems to enjoy being part of a group or being alone and getting all of the attention. She appears to be house and crate trained and knows sit and down. I would not trust her off leash. Penny has a huge love for food and it shows!!! She is quite plump so she is on a diet. She would do well in an active home with plenty of walks. Penny would love a home where she can be part of the family and show you just how much love she has to give. Since she is spayed and current on shots, she is ready for immediate adoption.
