Dog Story: Are you ready for a big ole bundle of puppy love? Then Peanut is your boy! He is sweet, affectionate, friendly AND handsome! He loves to wrestle with the two resident female Britts. He has a soft mouth and displays a playful, puppy disposition. He thinks everyone is his friend (including the cat and bunny)! He seems to be indifferent to the sound of a gun. He would be best as an inside, family pet FIRST, as he thrives on human contact and the comfort of his family. Peanut is a very active boy. His foster family is working on leash manners and basic commands (stay and come), He also is currently crated due to chewing and accidents (he is not yet house broke). Peanut will need someone with the time, patience and consistency to give him guidance and perfect his doggie manners! He must be included in an active family’s day to day life. He crates very well, but of course wants to be with his people most! Peanut is orange and white. Although it is a burnt orange (dark), he is more orange/sienna color predominately. It is a beautiful color with liver/dark brown ‘highlights’ especially on his ears, and tail. No sight unseen adoptions, we feel it is important all family members (including canine) meet to assure that we have a good fit. Our boy has recently been neutered and microchipped. He is current on all vaccinations, is heartworm negative and is on heartworm preventative. If you are looking for lots of Brittany companionship, please complete the adoption application and make a date to meet Peanut! History: Peanut is an owner surrender from a family who realized his energy level was beyond that they expected. Please consider making this adorable boy part of your forever family.
