Peaches is such a sweet senior! She happily goes along with anything you suggest, is good with other dogs, cats and children. If you are searching for a pleasant, glad-to-see you, glad-to-be-with-you companion, you couldn’t find a better one than Peaches.Peaches is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, chipped, heartworm negative and on preventative. In early August she began a course of antibiotics to treat Lyme exposure. She does not demonstrate a “startle reflex” so it is presumed she is hearing impaired. She has a bit of arthritis in her back legs but is showing no sign of pain.Peaches was whisked away from a high kill shelter by awesome ABR volunteers. Her fur was so matted that it had maggots in it and the mats inhibited her ability to walk. Her foster mom gave her relief immediately on her arrival: a comforting bath and grooming.Peaches is looking forward to living out her days in a loving retirement home where she can cuddle and snooze.
