Meet Patch, a BEAUTIFUL 2 yr old Brittany who is very smart, yet very cautious boy who is learning to be a confident and happy Brittany. Patch came to us extremely timid and jumpy at the slightest sounds. Since then he has improved but still has his moments of getting nervous if the sound is new to him. One thing about Patch that has helped him tremendously is having another dog or two around. Just that alone has allowed him to build confidence and courage so another dog (or two) is a must for him to continue to grow. Patch will sit on command for his food. He IS gun shy though and we do not know how he would be around cats. At night he sleeps in his crate and during the day, if I have to go anywhere, I put him together in a room with my other dogs and he does fine. Patch does love his cuddles and loving he gets from me. Patch is an easy boy to fall in love with and want to keep! Patch still has accidents from time to time so we keep working on it.it’s just all part of the confidence building and structure he needs. The perfect home for Patch would be one with another dog or two in the mix, older children would be welcoming to him as he is a loves the attention and of course, a home with PATIENCE to bring out the very best in him. Patch is a diamond in the rough and when he comes around, that family will have hit the jackpot! Patch is up to date on his vaccines and is heartworm negative and on preventative.
